Turbo Holdings Inc. Dealt with Richard and a few of his technicians - all professionals that communicate very well in email, over the phone, and in person. We had a broken outlet and a bad switch in our breaker box. Within 2hrs he had the breaker diagnosed and temporarily fixed until a brand new part came, as well as the outlet repaired. Came a few days later and had the new part in within 25min, even arrived extra early as to make sure we could use the lights when we come in at 8am. We contacted Rick from Caliber Electric to help us get the required 3rd, wired smoke alarm installed during the sale of our home. Caliber Electric was highly recommended to us by a friend. After dealing with them, I knew why! Rick answered the phone when I called and then had his crew come to our home the same day to complete the job! The two young men, Dan and Merlin (?), were extremely courteous and neat . While they did have to open the wall up to do the wiring, they managed to do it through a closet, opening only the inside of the closet wall to run the wire. Caliber Electric perfomed professional job in my home. They were responsive and professional. I trust their work. The price was reasonable. I had them do the attic fan and install Vented Hood. The best thing about them is they respond to you by emails ( that is a big plus for me) and by phone promptly and they communicate very clearly and professionally. I never had to go back and forth with them. You knew you were dealing with trust worthy people. I would recommend them for your next job. Let me start by saying that I'm not a neighbor, family member nor have I ever met Rich before needing him for an Electrical job. When asking around to friends and co-workers for referrals, Rich was one of several that I had received. The builder of our development did not permit changes to the newly build homes until after closing...so, yes.... after closing we started a list of changes/upgrades that we wanted done. The 'electrical' part of that list included installing a ceiling fan on a high arched ceiling; a closet light that automatically turned on as the door was opened; move a kitchen island outlet; install outlets (including a ground-fault) where additional kitchen cabinets and double oven were being installed; install an outlet that included a USB port (to recharge my iphone and ipad) -- LOVE this one!!!; and install an outlet/switch combo to easily turn on some under/over cabinet lighting. Rich came by within 24 hours of my initial call to review this list with me....and then emailed me a quote that same evening. He took care of the necessary permits required by my town, scheduled the necessary inspections along the way and started the job in the time frame we agreed to. He was extremely courteous, professional and thorough. He even cleaned up any mess that was made during the process! His prices were right in line with 2 other estimates that I had obtained. I went with Rich because I didn't feel like I was being up-sold something that I didn't want or need. He had a clean appearance and was respectful of my new wood floors -- a big deal if you're always having to clean them:) I HIGHLY recommend Rich Maloney (owner) of Caliber Electric. I needed to have my home automation system installed and Rich was not only on-time, professional and clean but he had the whole system up and running in a matter of minutes!! He knew exactly how to fix the wiring mess in the house and get all the switches installed and setup. Thank you so much for your help Caliber. After Sandy I never thought the electric in my house would ever work correctly again. Two other electricians failed to pinpoint the issue but, as they say, third time was a charm. I wish I had went with Caliber and specifically the Tech (Richard) that they sent to my house. I have used Caliber Electric a few times now and have been more than satisfied with them. Rich was able to replace some old aluminum wiring and make my house safer. At one point I had a general contractor come in and insulate my house, after they left my lights weren't working. I had caliber electric troubleshoot the problem and they determined the other contractor had done the insulation wrong and covered the lights.
